10-3-1998: Leaving Mom's place after dinner without my trunk was disturbing, but I was less than half way home, so I carried on by following instructions. I chose not to challenge the threats I faced in her home, so I relied on the map of the road I was told to drive by using a compass I was given before I left.
10-4-1998: Early AM: Shortly after turning east, close to the border of the State, I encountered a flash of bright white light on the left side of the road. It seemed to pass from my left upwards and to the east like a bolt of lightning (which it may have been), but from the ground up - across the sky to the east - not down. The morning after, I did my laundry and encountered the hate crime scene remains a few hours later, while heading back to the North that afternoon.
10-8-1998: $7.00 Laundry (I did laundry the morning before encountering the desecration, but was disturbed by bugs in the trunk after putting the blue square from the hospital gown in it, so this entry must have been for another load upon arrival).
10-15-1998: $67.50 Clothes
10-19-1998: $63.89 Battery Charger (Purchase made on HWY 10 in Minnesota).
